Peel Regional Police have identified a 53-year-old man who was assaulted behind a shopping mall in Malton on Thursday night and later died.
Police say Madad Kenyi, of no fixed address died of his wounds in a Toronto hospital after he was assaulted behind Westwood Mall, located at 7205 Goreway Drive in Mississauga’s Malton neighbourhood.
On Saturday, police said they arrested 29-year-old Nathan Bell of no fixed address and charged him with second-degree murder. On Sunday, a second suspect, 41-year-old Brian Nelson of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder.
Both were expected to appear in a Brampton courtroom for bail hearings sometime on Sunday.
A third man, Gary Hoffman, turned himself in to police on Sunday. He was also charged with second-degree murder.
He is expected to appear in a Brampton courtroom for a bail hearing on Monday.
