PELHAM, Ont. -- A 24-year-old man is dead following a crash on Wednesday evening in Ontario`s Niagara region.
Niagara Region police say the man was riding a snowmobile on a road near Pelham, Ont., at about 9 p.m. when he collided with a van.
Other motorists came to the aid of the injured snowmobiler after he was ejected from his machine but he died of his injuries at the scene.
The 67-year-old man driving the van was not injured.
No names have been released and police say they are continuing their investigation.
