A 23-year-old man has died after a shooting outside a Brampton lounge.
Police say the shooting occurred in a parking lot near Dixie and Orenda roads at around 4:30 a.m.
The victim was rushed to hospital in life-threatening condition but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Police say they do not believe that incident is connected to another fatal shooting outside a nearby shisha lounge at around 1 a.m.
Investigators are currently canvassing the scene and are appealing to anyone with information about the homicide to come forward.
“We ask and we urge anyone that did see anything or hear anything to contact our homicide bureau,” Const. Bally Saini told CP24 on Sunday.
