The TTC says that they are conducting an “ongoing investigation” into allegations that a man in a TTC uniform assaulted a woman.

A man told Newstalk 1010 on Thursday night that he saw the woman pass a school bus with its lights on. At that point, he said that the man in the TTC uniform approached the woman’s vehicle, pounded on her window and then began punching her.

The witness said that police were then called to the area; however both the man and the woman left before their arrival.

TTC Spokesperson Brad Ross confirmed to CP24 on Friday that the TTC is conducting an investigation into the allegations, which he said were made two weeks ago.

It is not immediately clear whether or not the man seen in the TTC uniform is actually an employee of the transit commission.
