A man has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after being stabbed multiple times in Scarborough late Friday afternoon.
It happened shortly before 5:30 p.m. Preliminary information provided by police said that it occurred in the Lawrence and Midland avenues area, however police later amended the location to Birchmount and Burcana roads.
The circumstances surrounding the incident were not immediately known.
The victim, believed to be in his 20s, was stabbed twice, paramedics said. Police said he was stabbed in the back.
