A man has been transported to a trauma centre after being struck by a vehicle in the city’s Forest Hill neighbourhood Friday evening.
According to police, it happened on Eglinton Avenue, west of Bathurst Street, at around 7:30 p.m.
The circumstances surrounding the incident were not immediately clear.
The victim’s injuries are very serious, paramedics said.
The driver of the vehicle remained on scene, police said.
Officers continue to investigate.
