A man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after he was stabbed with what police have described as a "blunt" object near Lake Shore Boulevard and Mimico Avenue.
Paramedics were called to the intersection shortly before 9 p.m. and the man was taken to a local trauma centre.
One man has been arrested in connection with the incident, police say.
There were reports that the man may have been stabbed with drum sticks but police did not confirm that detail, saying only that several items were seized.
The victim's condition is not known at this time.
