A man has turned himself in to police, telling officers he was involved in a fatal hit-and-run accident that saw a 35-year-old cyclist killed early Friday morning.

According to police, two traffic services detectives have been dispatched to speak to the man at 11 Division, where he turned himself in Saturday.

The victim in the incident, elementary school teacher Tomer Samson, was killed after being struck by two vehicles while crossing Davenport Road along Lansdowne Avenue around 6:45 a.m.

Police have not announced any charges so far.
