Toronto police are searching for a man in his early 20s after a teenaged girl was sexually assaulted near Rowena Park in Toronto’s Parkwoods neighbourhood Thursday morning.
Police said a 14-year-old girl was walking in the area of Welsford Gardens and Rowena Drive between 8 a.m. and 8:45 a.m. Thursday morning, when a man approached her from behind and sexually assaulted her.
The suspected is described as black, in his early 20s, standing about six feet tall, with a medium build. He has braids in his hair, and a thin moustache. He was wearing a baggy grey sweater, baseball cap and blue jeans at the time of the alleged assault.
