Missing 10-year-old girl Saquanna Duncan was found safe Friday morning after police searched for the child in the Eglinton West neighbourhood overnight.

Duncan was last seen after school at around 5:30 p.m. Thursday in the area of Keele Street and Tretheway Drive. Her aunt and uncle reported her missing at around 8 p.m. after she never came home from classes.

Police said they were concerned for her safety and set up a command post in the area of Charles E Webster Jr. public school overnight.

Sgt. Tracy Fraser told CP24 people from the girl's school were at the command post overnight and police learned the child may have other relatives in the area.

Fraser told CP24 one of the tips they received led them to a home in the neighbourhood where the girl was found safe.
