Ottawa paramedics were called to the Prime Minister’s house early Sunday morning after a teen reportedly fell unconscious.
The medical incident at 24 Sussex Drive did not involve a member of the Harper family, nor one of their ‘protectees.’
CTV News has learned the patient was a young female and that she may have been unconscious.
Friends of the Prime Minister’s son - Ben Harper - were out celebrating his 18th birthday in Gatineau, Que., before returning to the residence, according to students at his school.
Students and media reports suggest the teen suffered severe intoxication.
The Prime Minister’s Office says "we have nothing to add to this story" and refuses to confirm whether this was a birthday party or where the Prime Minister or his wife were at that time.
