TTC riders will finally be able to hop on the new streetcars Sunday when the city rolls out the first fleet on the 510 Spadina Line.

The streetcars have been spotted around Toronto over the last few months as operators tested out the shiny new machines but at 10 a.m. on Sunday, some of the streetcars will officially be in service.

Earlier this month, TTC CEO Andy Byford and TTC spokesperson Brad Ross released a YouTube video showing off some of the new features.

The new streetcars will be fully accessible, have a higher carrying capacity and according to Byford, will provide a much smoother and quieter ride.

They will also include bike racks and a separated area for streetcar drivers.

Over the next five years, 204 new streetcars will be introduced onto Toronto streets.
