This weekend is shaping up to be a beautiful one with temperatures hovering around the low 30s Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Environment Canada is calling for a high of 28 C in Toronto Friday.

Traffic:

Queen Street East is closed between Coxwell and Rhodes avenues and Coxwell Avenue is closed between Dundas Street and Eastern Avenue after a garbage truck collided with a pole in the area.

  • This weekend is your last chance to check out the food, rides and games at the CNE. The event is on until Sept. 7.
  • The Oddball Festival, hosted by Funny or Die, is coming to the Molson Canadian Amphitheatre on Sunday and will feature comedians including Amy Schumer, Nick Kroll and Aziz Ansari.
  • Open Streets TO will also return to Toronto on Sunday. Yonge Street, from Bloor to Queen streets, and Bloor Street, from Christie to Parliament streets, will be closed for the street festival.
