NEWS:
- A man is dead following a stabbing near Eglinton Avenue and Dufferin Street.
- Ford Canada is adding 1,000 new jobs at its Oakville, Ont. assembly plant.
- Police are investigating the 2nd fire to hit an auto body shop in Rexdale in the last week.
EVENTS:
- New York rock band 'Coheed and Cambria' will make a stop in Toronto tonight for a performance at the Kool Haus at 7 p.m.
- Mayoral candidates John Tory, Olivia Chow and Doug Ford will be attending a mayoral debate at the Joseph J. Piccininni Community Centre at 7 p.m.
- Bill Nye (The Science Guy) will be in Toronto to host a presentation and panel discussion on the Canadian Space Program. The event will be held at 31 King’s College Circle from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and tickets are $10.
SPORTS:
Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps was arrested and charged with driving under the influence on Tuesday. Phelps issued an apology and said he takes “full responsibility” for his actions.
