From John Tory's meeting with Montreal Mayor Denis Codere to a debate over expanding gaming at Woodbine Racetrack and across the city it is going to be a busy day at city hall and across Toronto. Here is a list of everything you need to know as you head out the door:

Weather:

It’s going to be a messy day in the GTA with rain beginning this morning and lasting into the late afternoon. Southwest winds of 20 km/h gusting up to 50 km/h this afternoon are also in the forecast. The expected high if 9 C.

News:

Expanded gaming at Woodbine Racetrack and the introduction of non-renewable contracts for the city’s ombudsman and lobbyist registrar are both on the agenda today as executive committee meets at city hall. The meeting will get underway at 9:30 a.m.

Mayor John Tory will meet with Montreal Mayor Denis Coderre at city hall this morning in what will be his first face-to-face with the leader of Canada’s second biggest city. It is not immediately clear what will be discussed during the 7:30 a.m. meeting, however the two mayors are expected to speak with reporters at 8 a.m. Coderre never met with Tory's predecessor Rob Ford and even had some harsh word for him when he attended a Federation of Canadian Municipalities meeting in Ottawa last February, telling reporters that he didn't want to have "anything to do" with Toronto's scandal-plagued mayor.

Two healthcare professionals who allegedly spied on Rob Ford’s medical records could face prosecution. According to a report in the Toronto Star, the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner referred two individuals to Ontario’s Attorney General for prosecution after they allegedly accessed the former mayor’s medical file at the University Health Network (UHN) in January. If found guilty of violating the Personal Health Information Protection Act, the two individuals could be fined up to $50,000 each.

Sports:

The Toronto Raptors had a chance to clinch a playoff spot last night, but came up short, losing 108-104 to the Detroit Pistons on the road. Point guard Kyle Lowry left the game in the second quarter with back spasms.

Events:

Toronto Fashion Week continues at David Pecaut Square. Tonight's big event is the runway show for Klaxon Howl, Hayley Elsaesser and Mackage.
