Temperatures are expected to hover around the freezing mark today but snow is not in the forecast. Environment Canada is calling for a mix of sun and cloud.

TRAFFIC:

The Ontario Provincial Police are urging drivers on the QEW to be extra careful because of icy roads between Dorval Drive and Trafalgar Road in Oakville.

EVENTS:

  • The Gourmet Food and Wine Expo is on at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre from Nov. 20 to Nov. 23. The event features 1,500 fines wines, beers and spirits from around the world and ticket prices range from $20 to $40.
  • Amnesty International Toronto kicks off the 9th Annual Reel Awareness Film Festival tonight with the screening of Silenced at the Carlton Cinema at 7:30 p.m. The festival runs until Nov. 23 and many of the films will be followed by a Q& A with filmmakers, community activists and human rights expert.
  • Johnny Marr, former co-songwriter and guitarist for ‘the Smiths,’ will be performing with Meredith Sheldon at The Danforth Music Hall tonight at 8 p.m.

SPORTS:

The Leafs will take on the Tampa Bay Lightning tonight at 7:30 p.m. at the Air Canada Centre.
