- A Canadian teacher detained in Indonesia will be formally charged, according to his brother.
- Doug Ford says he is considering running for the leadership of the Ontario Progressive Conservatives.
EVENTS:
In addition to a whole host of Devil’s Night parties across the city, here are a few other events you can check out on the eve of Halloween.
- Pretenders frontwoman Chrissie Hynde will be performing songs from her new solo album at Massey Hall at 8 p.m. tonight.
- From 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., take a tour special ‘ghost tour’ of the Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre, located near Yonge and Queen streets.
- The Colossus Theatre in Vaughan will be hosting its 30th anniversary screening of Ghostbusters with a few extras including proton pack demos and photos with the marshmallow man. Two screenings, which is in support of the Hospital for Sick Children, begin at 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and tickets are $13.
