Police have issued a warning to parents in Niagara Region about the discovery of razor blades in Halloween candy.

According to a news release issued on Monday, Niagara Regional Police say they received a call about what appeared to be a razor blade inside a candy bar that was obtained while a child was trick-or-treating in Thorold.
