A 67-year-old Toronto man is under arrest after a nine-year-old boy was allegedly sexually assaulted during a tutoring session inside a Thorncliffe Park home earlier this month.

Police say the alleged incident took place after the child went to a man’s home on the night of Oct. 9 to be tutored.

Police say the accused ran a tutoring service out of his home in Thorncliffe Park for approximately two years.

On Tuesday, police arrested a suspect identified as Muhammad Damani and charged him with one count of sexual assault and one count of sexual interference.

He was scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on Tuesday.

Investigators believe there may be other victims who have not yet come forward.
