Fire crews quickly stamped out a two-alarm fire at an auto repair shop in Etobicoke Tuesday morning after a camper exploded into flames.

The fire broke out at around 9:15 a.m. outside a shop at Belfield Road and Iron Street, in the Martin Grove Road and Highway 409 area.

Toronto Fire Services said several other vehicles caught fire after the camper was engulfed in flames and crews worked to prevent the fire from reaching the building.

In an image shared to social media, flames and heavy black smoke could be seen billowing from the burning vehicle outside the shop while the fire was active.

By around 9:50 a.m., the fire had been put out.

The charred remains of several badly damaged vehicles could be seen at the site following the fire.

There is no immediate estimate of the damage. No injuries were reported.

Belfield Road was closed from City View Drive to Martin Grove Road because of the fire, but has since reopened.
