No injuries were reported after a two-alarm fire at a highrise in Etobicoke early Tuesday morning.

The fire began in the bedroom of a sixth floor unit at a building on Mabelle Avenue near Bloor Street and Islignton Avenue at around 4:20 a.m. and was knocked down by firefighters about 20 minutes later.

According to Toronto Fire Services, the blaze was contained to one unit; however smoke spread throughout the halls and water did seep into some of the apartments below.

It is not immediately clear what caused the fire.
