Toronto Police say a man has been shot in the St. Lawrence area of downtown.
Const. Craig Brister said police were called to an alleyway near George Street and The Esplanade at 10:38 p.m.
Multiple callers reported hearing several gunshots.
Police arrived to find a man suffering from gunshot wounds. Paramedics said he is a man in his 20s and he is in serious condition.
He was taken to hospital for treatment.
