One person was rushed to hospital with life threatening injuries after a three-vehicle collision in Markham Sunday night.
York Regional Police said the collision happened at 16th Avenue and Kennedy Road.
A stretch of 16th Avenue was closed at Kennedy Road following the collision.
A high volume of collisions was reported throughout the GTA Sunday night as motorists contended with hazardous road conditions brought on by freezing rain.
