An Oshawa man is facing child-porn related charges after he allegedly lured a teen girl to his home and took inappropriate photos of her.

York Regional Police say the victim posted an ad online in April, saying she was interested in a part-time modeling and acting job.

According to investigators, the suspect, who claimed to be a photographer, responded to the ad and arranged to meet the girl for a photo shoot.

On May 8, police say the man met the victim and brought her back to his home, where he took photos that “meet the criteria of child pornography.”

The girl’s parents notified police after they became aware of the images.

Police say the teen was not physically injured during the incident.

Nicholas Ezard, 53, has been charged with making child pornography, possessing child pornography and luring child.

Investigators say the suspect is actively involved on online porn sites using the name Nick Ez and there may be other victims.

Police ask anyone with information to contact the York Regional Police Internet Child Exploitation Unit at 1-866-876-5423, ext. 7078 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS.
