A man who was shot overnight in Malton has died of his injuries, Peel Regional Police confirm to CP24.
The shooting took place at around 2:15 a.m. Sunday on Brandon Gate near Goreway Drive.
Neighbours told CP24 that there was a loud party at the townhouse complex that ran late into the night. People could be heard talking and singing loudly.
Homicide police on the scene say the victim is in his 20s.
The victim was taken to a hospital in Etobicoke in a private vehicle, according to emergency crews.
Peel police are expected to release more information on the region's latest homicide later this morning.
