Two suspects in the murder of Niagara Falls man Giuseppe “Joe” Caputo were arrested on Highway 400 in Vaughan Tuesday evening, police said.

Caputo, age 70, was found dead inside his home on June 19.

Niagara Regional issued arrest warrants one male and one female suspect on June 22.

Sometime before 6:35 p.m. Tuesday, the suspects were seen travelling in a car on Highway 400 in Vaughan. Police arrested the pair and took them to St. Catherines to await a bail hearing.

Jasmine Doxator, 37, and Richard Doxator, 38, each face one count of first degree murder.

Niagara Regional police thanked police from Hamilton, York Region, and the Six Nations for their help in tracking down the suspects.
