Two people were rushed to hospital after being struck by a vehicle in North York Wednesday evening.
It happened in the Jane Street and Falstaff Avenue area shortly before 6:30 p.m.
The circumstances surrounding the incident were not immediately clear.
Two patients – an elderly woman and a man – sustained serious injuries, paramedics said.
The driver of the vehicle remained on scene, police said.
There was no immediate word on whether charges would be forthcoming.
