A woman is dead after being struck by a vehicle in Scarborough’s Agincourt area Tuesday afternoon.
The woman, believed to be in her 70s, was struck at Midland and Finch avenues at around 2:40 p.m. Toronto Paramedic Services said she was pronounced dead at the scene.
The vehicle involved remained at the scene. The driver will not be facing any charges, police said.
Midland Avenue was shut down between Finch and McNicoll avenues as police investigated. It was reopened at around 7:30 p.m.
