Police are investigating after a man was stabbed while walking on the street in Toronto’s Mount Dennis neighbourhood Sunday morning.
Police say a male victim was walking on Weston Road near Jane Street at about 10 a.m. when an unknown male assailant approached him and stabbed him multiple times.
The suspect fled the scene in the direction of Dora Spencer Road and Tyrone Avenue.
The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect is described as white, about six feet tall, in his 30s, weighing about 160 or 165 pounds. He was seen wearing a light-blue T-shirt and grey jogging pants.
