One person was taken to hospital with serious injuries after they were struck by a vehicle on Highway 400 near King City shortly after midnight.
The person, whose gender is not immediately clear, was reportedly walking along the highway near King Road at around 12:30 a.m. when they were struck by a vehicle.
Police say the vehicle remained on scene.
The northbound lanes of the highway were closed at King Road as police investigated, however they have since reopened.
