Toronto police have charged a piano teacher in a string of sexual assaults targeting young girls.

The alleged assaults took place over a period of seven years from 2006 to 2013, police say.

Police allege the suspect assaulted the girls as he gave them piano lessons in his basement in the area of Church and Yonge streets.

Police announced the charges after executing a search warrant at the suspect’s home and seizing two computers Thursday.

Lap-Wah Ng, 69, of Toronto, was charged on Oct. 11 in connection with the alleged assaults, police announced Thursday.

He has been charged with sexual assault and sexual interference.

Police believe there may be more victims.
