An 32-year-old Oshawa man has been arrested after allegedly videotaping a 50-year-old woman inside a bathroom stall at a fast-food restaurant in Oshawa.
Police say the incident occurred at around lunchtime on Nov. 11 at a McDonald’s at the Oshawa Centre.
According to investigators, a Whitby woman was in the women’s washroom when she noticed a cell phone being pointed up at her from the stall next door. The woman, police say, got dressed as quickly as she could but when she went out to confront the man, he was gone.
Robert Moore, of Simcoe Street South in Oshawa, has been charged with voyeurism.
Anyone who was in the McDonalds washrooms at the time of the incident is asked to contact Det. Dellipizzi of the Central East Division Criminal Investigations Bureau at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 2766.
