Police arrested two men and seized one gun following some sort of incident outside the Eaton Centre on Saturday morning.
Police say they were first called to the area surrounding the downtown shopping centre at around 3:30 a.m. for a report of two groups that were fighting.
Officers were, however, unable to locate the suspects upon arrival.
Police were then called back to the area at around 8 a.m. for a report suggesting that the same suspects had produced a gun and knife and robbed at least one person.
That’s when police took two men into custody and recovered a firearm.
It is not clear what charges, if any, the suspects will face.
Police say an investigation is ongoing.
