CALEDON, Ont. - Police have identified a woman who was struck and killed while walking on a road in Caledon, Ont.
They say 41-year-old Nastaran Ghazanfari, of New Tecumseth, was struck by a vehicle (on Highway 9, east of Tecumseth Pines Drive) around 6 p.m. Saturday.
She was rushed to hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The investigation is ongoing and no charges have been laid.
Provincial police are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
