Toronto police are investigating a suspicious death after a person was found without vital signs in an apartment late Monday night.
Police found the person when they were called to a building on Kendleton Drive, near Kipling Avenue and Albion Road, at about 11:45 p.m.
Investigators are trying to figure out whether foul play was a factor in the death.
Police spokeswoman Const. Wendy Drummond said homicide detectives are assisting 23 Division officers in the investigation, but the case has not been deemed a homicide.
According to reports from the scene, a man was taken into custody at the apartment for questioning.
Police later said no one is in custody.
