A group of men attempted to abduct a woman who was walking alone in the city’s east end Tuesday, police said.

The woman was near the intersection of Jones and Baird avenues when she was approached by a vehicle occupied by several men.

One of the men then attempted to engage the woman in conversation but she continued to walk away.

Police say a male passenger then grabbed the woman’s arm and attempted to pull her into the vehicle, however she was able to break free and call police.

The vehicle is described as a black, four-door sedan, possibly a BMW, with tinted windows.

Police only provided a description for two of the suspects.

The driver of the vehicle was described as a black man, between the ages of 20 and 23 years old with braided hair.

The passenger of the vehicle is described as a white man between the ages of 20 and 23. He was last seen wearing a black winter hat and a grey track suit.
