One man was pronounced dead on scene and another was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a stabbing in a Vaughan parking lot early Sunday morning.
Police say there was an altercation between two groups of people in the parking lot on Interchange Way near Highway 400 and Highway 7 at around 3 a.m.
As a result of the altercation, two people were stabbed.
Police say a 22-year-old Richmond Hill man was pronounced dead on scene.
Police have not released any information about potential suspects at this point and are appealing to witnesses to come forward.
