Police are investigating after a rash of break-and-enters in Etobicoke early Sunday morning.

A total of seven break-ins were committed in the area of Islington Avenue and Bloor Street between 2 a.m. and 7 a.m.

Five separate homes, one business and one school were targeted, police say.

Police believe that two of the break-and-enters were committed by the same suspect.

The exact locations of the break-and-enters are not known, but at least two of them were committed on Kingsmill Road.

It is not known what was taken during the course of the robberies.

No arrests have been made.

Police say there is no link between these break-ins and other entries which have occurred in Etobicoke where sexual assaults have occurred.
