Police are hunting for a suspect after three women were sexually assaulted in separate incidents at York University this week.

The first incident occurred at around 3:30 p.m. Thursday when a 33-year-old woman exited a TTC bus near Vari Hall and was approached by a man, who engaged her in conversation.

Police allege the man then sexually assaulted the woman as she walked away.

The second incident also occurred at around 3:30 p.m. Thursday near Vari Hall.

A 21-year-old woman had exited a TTC bus in the area when she was approached by two men.

According to police, one of the men engaged the woman in conversation and then sexually assaulted her as she walked away.

The same man is also suspected in a similar sexual assault at around 3 p.m. Friday.

In that incident a woman was leaving Vari Hall when a man followed her to the Accolade West Building and attempted to engage her in conversation.

Police say the man then sexually assaulted the woman when she attempted to walk away from him.

The suspect in all three incidents is described as a black male, 6’0” – 6’2”, 155 – 175 lbs., with a thin face and short black afro. He was last seen wearing dark jeans, a green shirt with a pattern on it and a blue baseball cap.
