Police say they have located one of two vehicles wanted in connection with a shootout in Toronto’s Englemount-Lawrence neighbourhood on Thursday night.

According to investigators, an exchange of gunfire occurred between suspects inside two vehicles just before midnight and shell casings were located on Shermount Avenue.

It is believed that at one point the two vehicles collided.

Police say blood was located at the scene and it is believed that one person may have been shot in the face.

The victim, however, was not located by police.

Police say one of the vehicles involved in the incident has been found but a second vehicle, described as a mid-sized four-door white sedan, is still outstanding.

The vehicle, police say, may have been damaged.
