Police say they are looking for three male suspects who robbed and assaulted two people who were seated in a parked car in Scarborough on Monday evening.
Police say the victims, a 19-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man, were in a parking lot on Twyn Rivers Drive at around 6:30 p.m. when they were approached by the suspects.
Police allege that the suspects then robbed and assaulted the victims. At one point, police say that one of the suspects produced a sharp weapon and slashed the male victim multiple times. The suspects also indicated that they were armed with a gun, police say.
The male victim sustained significant injuries while the female victim sustained minor injuries.
One of the suspects is described as having dark skin, a thin build and some facial hair. Police have not released descriptions for the other suspects.
