Police have released a photo of a man they suspect of spitting on a woman and hurling racial slurs at her.
A woman, along with her daughter and aunt, boarded an eastbound TTC subway train at the Victoria park station on Sunday.
A man allegedly tried to prevent the woman and her family from getting on to the train at 9:38 p.m.
The family made their way on to the train, and that is when the suspect allegedly made derogatory comments directed at the woman.
The man allegedly spat on the woman as he made his exit at the Main Street subway station.
The suspect is described as being between 25 and 45 years of age. He was seen wearing a black toque, black shirt, beige parka, black pants and beige construction boots with black tips.
