Police have released surveillance camera footage showing two suspects wanted in connection with the robbery of a North York bank last month.

The two men entered a bank in the area of Leslie Street and Finch Avenue at around 7:50 p.m. on April 9.

Police say one of the men then walked into the main area of the branch and observed the staff while the other approached the teller and opened up a clipboard containing a note indicating that he was armed and demanding cash.

Police allege the suspect then handed over a green recycling bag and the teller placed a quantity of cash inside.

Both suspects then fled the scene.

The first suspect is described as brown, in his 20s with a skinny build. He was last seen wearing sunglasses, a white hat, a long overcoat and white shoes.

The second suspect is described as Asian, in his 20s, about five-foot-four to five-foot-seven with a round face and medium build. He was last seen wearing a blue ski jacket, grey pants, and black shoes.
