Police say they have a video of woman who allegedly snuck inside a retirement home and robbed a 91-year-old resident.

Authorities believe the woman who entered the midtown retirement home was posing as a nurse.

The female suspect seen on video was dressed in scrubs when she entered a retirement home in the area of Avenue Road and Eglinton Avenue West on the afternoon of Nov. 2.

Once inside, police alleged that the woman attempted to enter units until she found one that was unlocked and unoccupied. The woman then ransacked the room, stealing the cash from purses and wallets, police said. About $1,000 in cash was taken from a senior’s room.

The video that was released by police on Friday shows the female suspect running into the front door of the retirement home and then briskly walking past an unoccupied main desk and down a hallway. After a few seconds, the video then shows the woman returning to the lobby and proceeding to walk down another hallway.

The suspect has previously been described as a thin female in her 30s with shoulder-length brown hair. She was last seen wearing hot pink scrubs, a white baseball cap, white shoes and a royal blue lanyard with a white name tag.
