Police have confirmed that a body found in Richmond Hill on Wednesday is that of missing 29-year-old woman Vanessa Straumann.
Straumann had been last seen leaving her Richmond Hill home shortly after 5 p.m. on July 8.
The discovery of the body on Wednesday came as police scoured the Weldrick Road East and Bayview Avenue area in the hopes of locating Straumann.
Police say that they do not consider Straumann’s death suspicious.
