Toronto police say they are searching for a suspect who broke into a Don Mills home and sexually assaulted a 24-year-old woman.

The incident is said to have occurred on Friday at around 3 p.m. in the area of Deepwood Crescent and Greenland Road, near Lawrence Avenue East and Don Mills Road.

Police say an unknown man managed to get in to the home and proceeded to sexually assault a woman who was inside.

During the assault, police say the man was startled by noises outside and quickly fled.

The suspect is described as a white male in his mid-20s who is approximately five-foot-eight and 130 pounds. He reportedly has a thin build, with straight, medium-length red hair that sticks out around the ears. He was seen wearing a faded orange t-shirt that was torn around the neck area, cut-off blue jean shorts and black running shoes with white writing.
