Toronto police are investigating after a TD Bank branch was held up in Toronto’s Leaside neighbourhood Monday morning.

Toronto police Const. Caroline de Kloet said police received a call at 10:35 a.m. for a man who passed a note to a teller at the TD Bank located at 321 Moore Ave.

The suspect received money in a clear plastic bag and fled towards a Loblaws store west of the bank branch on Moore Avenue.

He is described as white, standing five-foot-eight or five-foot-nine, with short balding hair, wearing black sunglasses and a black T-shirt. He is approximately 25 years old.
