Homicide investigators will shed more light on what happened to a 25-year-old man who was gunned down in the city’s northwest end this past weekend.

Thuan Tony Nguyen was shot on Signet Drive at around 5:11 a.m. on Sunday.

Police found his body in a parking lot at the rear of the property. Nguyen was pronounced dead at the scene.

At the time of his death, investigators said they believed the man was at a club called Vy  Vy Restaurant and Lounge earlier that night.

Detectives were looking to speak with witnesses who were also at the club that evening which is located around Steeles Avenue and Highway 400.

Police said they will release the victim’s cause of death at a news conference Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.
