The Scotiabank Waterfront five kilometre run, half-marathon and full marathon this weekend will require the closure of many surface streets and a highway in Toronto’s downtown, Distillery District, Leslieville, Beaches, Liberty Village and other waterfront areas.

Runners of the marathon and half-marathon will start the run on University Avenue and Dundas Street and head north to Bloor Street, east to Bathurst Street, and south on Bathurst to Lakeshore Boulevard via Fort York Boulevard.

Runners will continue on the Lakeshore until roughly Ellis Avenue, and then turn back towards downtown.

From the Lakeshore, runners of the half-marathon will head north on Bay Street to finish their race at Nathan Phillips Square, while runners of the full marathon will continue east via Queen’s Quay East, Cherry Street and Eastern Avenue, towards Leslieville, through to Lakeshore Boulevard East, and Queen Street East, coming back towards downtown the same way.
