Get ready for some downtown road closures this weekend as BuskerFest returns to Toronto.
The festival, which is in its 16th year, attracts more than 100 street performers from around the world.
To accommodate the event, Yonge Street will be closed from Queen Street to College Street from Thursday at 9:30 a.m. to Sunday at midnight.
Toronto Tamil Festival:
The Toronto Tamil Festival will also close some streets in the city’s east end this weekend.
Morningside Avenue from Finch Avenue East to Neilson Road will be closed in both directions from Saturday at 6 a.m. to Sunday at midnight.
TTC closure:
On Line 1 this weekend, there will be no subway service on Saturday and Sunday between St. Clair West and Downsview stations due to track and signal upgrades.
Service will be up and running again at 6 a.m. Monday.
